Fully Accredited Program Certified Procurement Contracts Manager (CPCM™)

The reality of contract management is sobering; according to International Association for Contract & Commercial Management, an overwhelming 95% of companies report that their procurement contracts have been breached at least once, and these companies lose close to 9% of their annual revenue due to poor contract management. The consequences of inadequate contract management go beyond financial burden, with the potential for cost overruns, schedule delays, claims, contract breaches, litigations, and legal penalties. It is imperative for organizations to establish effective contract management practices to mitigate these detrimental outcomes.

This Certified Procurement Contracts Manager (CPCM™) program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the procurement contract lifecycle, equipping you with the best knowledge and skills to draft effective contracts, review crucial clauses and safeguard your organization from disputes with vendors. You will learn the full procurement contract life cycle, starting from identifying the best type of procurement contracts to use to contract negotiations and how to effectively administer and manage the performance of procurement contracts. This program will also cover legal and compliance issues in procurement contracts, an overview of best practices in procurement contracting, dispute resolution mechanisms, and contract close-out procedures. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to mitigate disputes when the contract performance is breached and how to build remedies for non-performance of the contract.

By the end of the program and upon passing the Chartered exam, you will have earned the Certified Procurement Contracts Manager (CPCM) designation which you can use to demonstrate your professional credentials and expertise in managing effective procurement contracts. The CPCM™ designation is a valuable and sought-after skill set that positions you as an expert in procurement contract management, increasing your marketability and earning potential in the industry.
